Pleasant B&B in a great location for anyone visiting Sligo Town. Received a great welcome from the Owner. Bedroom was a bit old fashioned but perfectly comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very tasty. I would be more than happy to stay again. Very good value for money..

Liam and Geraldine were extremely professional, helpful and friendly with directing us to restaurants etc and assisting us with where we wanted to go. The B&B is centrally located so easy to walk the city and the breakfasts were delicious. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable!.

We very much enjoyed our accommodation. It was well located and our host was very friendly. Although we stayed only the one night, it was perfect for us.
Sligo by Bike+ B&B, 2 nights B&B for €70 pps
Sligo offers some spectacular walking and cycling options. Base yourself in An Crúiscín Lan at the heart of Sligo Town where you will meet outdoor enthusiasts Geraldine and Liam McGettigan. Running the B&B together since 1985, the McGettigans will provide maps and point you in the right direction of all of Sligo’s mountains, ancient ruins and sandy beaches. Wind the day down with dinner at one of the McGettigan’s favourites - Hargadons Pub and Restaurant - where high quality, locally sourced, home cooked food make this a pub a daily hive of activity. Bike hire from nearby ‘Chain Driven Cycles’ is €10pp per day and a packed picnic is €5pp.
All of this plus:
Offer available from March 15th to June 30th and 1st September to October 20th
Try a 40km on-road cycle route around Lough Gill, passing through some of the most scenic areas of County Sligo and Leitrim.
This is by far the most popular route in the Sligo area. Take the Dromahair road via Ballinode junction with the N16 and follow Lough Gill in a clockwise direction.
Take in the breath-taking beauty as you pass Parkes Castle.
Following on to Dromahair keep right at garage and after about 4km keep right for Sligo at the Innisfree Island junction. The lake again comes into view at Slish wood. Take the gentle climbs here while passing Dooney wood. The steepest climb is at Aughamore passing the old Lake View school on the right.
At Carraroe roundabout take the hard shoulder on the dual carriageway or alternatively take the old Pearse road route into Sligo town and back to base.

Rooms are available on a room only or self-catering basis. Please call or e-mail for more details.
